General LedgerManhattan has a powerful, multi-company multi-currency system that fully integrates with all other Manhattan sub-ledgers. It includes a financial reporting mechanism that enables the generation and exporting of management reports. Manhattan supports an unlimited number of ledgers that can be set up for use with one or more companies to provide a multi-dimensional structure. Optional features offer consolidation capability and full cash book functions, permitting automated bank reconciliation functionality. General Ledger supports complex partnerships and consolidations, including multiple companies and joint ventures. Consolidation of companies for each period is available as standard. Several levels of consolidation can be set up, as required, allowing for total consolidation of all companies. Manhattan is able to consolidate financial data from different countries and from differing levels and roll it up to a central level. Elimination of internal balances between companies allows for different possibilities or combinations as defined. Users can include/exclude account codes and connect internal suppliers and customers to groups. Manhattan enables updating into other company ledgers, and fully supports multi currency. The Accruals functionality integrates fully at both the leasing and transaction levels. Accruals/Prepayments can be generated from the lease once a review date has gone past to allow for provision of increases in rent or service charges.
